About Us
COMPANION COTTAGE services are structured as a social rather than a medical module. It is our mission to help strengthen the bridge between a family's work life and home life.

Studies have shown a definite benefit when  the dependent loved one looks forward to a fun place to visit with new friends during the day while the family is at work.

Often respite is needed for all and the change of scene for a parent living with adult children provides the opportunity to share talk of activities they enjoyed during the day.

Owner Patricia Mennit brings plenty of experience to her venture, after working in a variety of retirement and assisted living communities, as both an administrator and caregiver.

Patty offers the peace of mind that comes from knowing that a reliable and caring professional staff will be watching over your special family member during the day.
OUR MISSION
COMPANION COTTAGE offers families an affordable alternative to assisted living facilities or costly hourly in-home daycare by providing a "home away from home" where their loved one will find meaningful companionship and social activities in a safe and welcoming home-like setting.
